Salary Range: £31,342 – £35,256

A Cancer Research UK funded postdoctoral position is available to join the research team of Dr Anna Chambers within the DNA:protein Interactions Unit in the School of Biochemistry. The group are studying the role of chromatin and chromatin remodelling in the maintenance of genome stability. The project will involve investigation in mammalian cells of the function of a putative chromatin remodeller that has been implicated in cancer biology and DNA repair.
The successful applicant will have expertise in mammalian cell biology, a background in either chromatin biology or genome stability experience of a range of mammalian cell biology and molecular biology techniques and will be qualified to the PhD level (or equivalent) in this field. Practical experience of microscopy would be an advantage.
