The Wolfson Centre for Age-Related Diseases, King’s College London wishes to appoint a highly motivated postdoc to carry out research investigating the role of mitochondria in chemotherapy-induced painful peripheral neuropathy. This two-year position will be held in the laboratory of Dr. Sarah Flatters (http://www.kcl.ac.uk/biohealth/research/divisions/wolfson/about/people/staff/flatterssarah.aspx) and will utilise a range of in vivo and ex vivo techniques.
Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant discipline with excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of neuroscience and/or mitochondrial function and signalling is highly desirable. Technical expertise with in vivo behavioural techniques and/or ex vivo mitochondria assays would be an advantage. Please include in your application a list of technical skills and publications.

The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications, skills and experience, within the Grade 6 scale, £33,654 – £36,546, per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
