Description: The faculty mentor for this position will be Dr.GEORGE HUANG. Will perform advanced research using experimental techniques including, but not limited to tissue cultures, stem cell isolation and maintenance, maintenance of hES and iPS cells, RNA isolation, PCR, ELISA assays, flow cytometry, immunostaining, autoradiograms and photomicrographs; executing biochemical procedures such as electrophoresis, blotting, chromatography,m and DNA extractions. May perform advanced laboratory research activities such as animal surgery, recombinanat DNA techniques, protein purification, m and hybridizations.
Qualifications: Postdoctoral degree with experience in cell research.
Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and based on the prevailing wage for postdoctoral research trainees set by the U.S. Department of Labor.
