A postdoctoral position is available in Nicoli’s Laboratory at the Yale Cardiovascular Research Center. The lab is focused on the study of miRNAs/mRNAs target gene regulatory pathways involved in vascular development. One potential project available is focused on the study of miRNA dependent signaling driving the interplay between neurons and vascular remodeling in the zebrafish central nervous system.
The lab is placed in a vascular research center of excellence and is in close proximity to other outstanding laboratories working in miRNA and RNA biology. Therefore, the candidate has a unique opportunity to combine multidisciplinary approaches during the development of their project.
The position requires an independent and technically skilled individual, preferentially beginning his/her first postdoctoral position, with strong motivation and excellent communication skills.
