Job Description
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow I is a post-graduate-level entry position in which the individual is responsible for assisting with research activities as well as conducting independent research projects when appropriate under limited supervision.
A Postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jia Fang at the Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. The research will be focused on molecular dissection of various epigenetic mechanisms in regulation of chromatin-related functions and tumor progression.
Qualified candidates should be highly motivated, have a recent Ph.D. degree in Biology or related field with demonstrated expertise in transcription, epigenetics and chromatin regulation. Experience with tumor biology, stem cell biology and DNA repair is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
