Post-doctoral Fellow – Cancer Research : New York, United States

Postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in a multidisciplinary team composed of chemists and biologists. The goal of our investigational program is to study the nature of chronic stress as it occurs in numerous diseases and aging; we use this knowledge for the discovery and clinical translation of diagnostics and therapeutics.

Open positions: 
Cell biology / Tumor biology / Biochemistry: to inquire into mechanisms associated with chaperones in disease; investigate modalities for the optimal translation of chaperone inhibitors to the treatment of cancers. These efforts will be conducted in collaboration with scientists and clinicians at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Weill Cornell Medical College and Medical University of South Carolina.

The successful candidate will:
• Have up to five years of postdoctoral experience with a demonstrated competence and experience in the biology of cancer. 
• Have demonstrated ability to work independently and lead projects while also collaborating and assisting the group achieve its research goals
