The Department of Molecular Pharmacology and Institute for Aging Research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is recruiting for an immediate postdoctoral opening in the laboratory of Dr. Derek M. Huffman. This position is ideally suited for a highly-motivated and innovative individual seeking to accelerate their career development in aging research.

The successful candidate (MD and/or PhD) will use integrative and sophisticated approaches to address fundamental research questions in the biology of aging by taking advantage of novel pharmacologic, transgenic, and surgical approaches, to study the role of metabolic signaling and systemic factors in whole organismal aging and age-related diseases. Candidates will be expected to maintain their own independent project(s) but will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with others in our group. Fellows are encouraged to present their work at national and international meetings and participate in enrichment activities sponsored by the Department of Molecular Pharmacology, Einstein-Sinai Diabetes Center, Cancer Center and Nathan Shock Center for Excellence in the Biology of Aging.
