Postdoctoral Position: Ultracold Atomic Gases

Within the cluster ML4Q funded by the German excellence initiative, we have an opening for a postdoctoral position in experimental physics (E13). The project aims at the realization of Majorana physics with ultracold erbium atoms in an optical lattice. Our group is the second worldwide to demonstrate a BEC of erbium atoms. The position is for a period of three years. In principle, an extension of the employment for up to six years on a senior researcher level, e.g. as to obtain the German habilitation degree, is possible.
