　　Position Description

　　Performs specialized Post Doctoral work in the planning, conducting and/or supervision of original research at TTUHSC. Responsible for participating in a research project associated with Ph.D studies and the interpretation of the results of publication. Work is performed under supervision of graduate faculty members with evaluation based on accomplishment of assigned objectives and overall effectiveness of project. May supervise research and student assistants.

　　Develops cell-based immunotherapy relative to the brain delivery and treatment of the brain diseases, brain tumor or other brain injury as requested by advisor

　　Shall be responsible to perform molecular & cell biology techniques such as cell culture, western blot, PCR, RNAi, and construction of protein plasmids

　　Management of the research lab insuring that sufficient supplies are on hand and that equipment is clean and available in good repair

　　Will response for characterization and testing interaction or cell-nanoparticles and BBB as well as neurotoxicity

　　Performs lab safety-check

　　Shall be responsible to perform developing animal model, tissue process, preparing section and immunocytochemical analysis

　　The position will join an active research team that studies brain therapeutics, with a particular area on molecular neuroscience and nueroimmunology

　　We are also interested in infaction diseases that cause brain injury. We combine a variety of approaches based in nanotechnology, animal models, pharmacokinetics, molecular genetics, cell biology, and live imaging
