　　Job Description

　　A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Christopher Hubert’s laboratory in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, USA. Our research focuses on the biologic dependencies and therapeutic sensitivities of adult and pediatric brain cancer cells as they exist in varying 3-dimentional microenvironments. We believe that by better preserving and recreating the environments in which cancer cells exist within patient tumors, we can better predict the therapies with the best chance of a true clinical impact. Motivated and creative biologists with Ph.D. or M.D., and a strong interest in highly disease-relevant research are welcome to apply. Experience using transgenic and xenograft mouse models, mouse handling, cell culture, and basic molecular biology techniques are very valuable; familiarity with cancer research, immune cells, bioinformatics, genotyping, FACS, RNA and/or protein analysis, and in-vitro or in-vivo drug treatments are all pluses.
