　　Job Description

　　The Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope is looking for a talented Postdoctoral Fellow. The T Cell Therapeutics Research Laboratory (TCTRL) overseen by Stephen Forman, M.D., is a fast-paced lab involved in cutting edge technology, research and clinical immunotherapeutic programs. The TCTLR currently has an opening for a postdoctoral fellow who will provide scientific leadership in the development of chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapies for hematologic malignancy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the fields of immunology, cancer biology and hematology. This position will interact and collaborate with a team of scientist highly trained in T cell preclinical and clinical research. The candidate is expected to be highly flexible to perform a wide-variety of job duties as the lead scientist driving adoptive cell therapy for hematologic malignancies.

　　Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:

　　A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline is required;

　　Research experience in the field fields of immunology, cancer biology and hematology;

　　A track record of publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals;

　　Ability to effectively lead a project in a translational research environment in order to successfully meet project goals;

　　Ability to design and execute experiments, critically interpret experimental results, and present data in a cogent and meaningful manner;

　　Ability to participate in the preparation of IND submissions, grant applications and publications;

　　Excellent oral and written communication skills.
