A postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Theresa Lu MD, PhD for a new project examining how diseased immune cells affect skin and lymph node function. See our recent papers in Science Translational Medicine, Journal of Clinical Investigation, and Immunity for our general interests. The project is translational in nature and uses experimental models as well as patient samples. A strong background in immunology is a must, and applicants should have an interest in development, rheumatologic diseases, and translational research. We are at the Hospital for Special Surgery Research Institute and part of Weill Cornell Microbiology and Immunology and the Graduate Program in Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis in New York City. The Hospital for Special Surgery is a musculoskeletal disease specialty hospital and is ranked #3 in Rheumatology and #1 in Orthopedics in the US by World and News Report.
