美國(guó)西北太平洋國(guó)家實(shí)驗(yàn)室新電池化學(xué)博士后職位
We are seeking an outstanding scientist to join our Battery Materials and Systems group to explore new battery chemistries and materials, including but not limited to multivalent ion batteries such as magnesium batteries, zinc batteries. The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be the development of new electrode/electrolyte materials and fundamental understanding of electrode/electrolyte interfaces/interphases. The candidate will also prepare manuscripts for publication, present the research work internally and externally at national/international conferences, and develop new ideas for the funded research.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have received a PhD within the past five years (60 months) or within the next 8 months from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Qualifications
The candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or other related fields within the past five years from an accredited college or university and have experience in one or more of the following areas: strong expertise in electrochemistry, strong background in materials synthesis for advanced electrode and/or electrolyte materials for battery applications; extensive knowledge and hands-on skills in material preparation, battery assembly and testing required. Prior experiences with non-aqueous electrolytes and multivalent battery chemistry are preferred.
Demonstrated record of publishing in first class journals and an ability to collaborate effectively on a teaming environment are required. Must be safety orientated.
