生物多樣性研究組隸屬于中國(guó)科學(xué)院西雙版納熱帶植物園綜合保護(hù)中心，是新近成立的研究組，研究組長(zhǎng)為綜合保護(hù)中心主任、中組部“人才”外國(guó)專家項(xiàng)目英國(guó)籍專家Richard　Ｔ．Corlett。該研究組以東南亞地區(qū)生物資源為研究對(duì)象，將通過(guò)理論、實(shí)驗(yàn)及野外調(diào)查相結(jié)合的方法，注重生態(tài)學(xué)、保護(hù)生物學(xué)及環(huán)境教育等多學(xué)科交叉，旨在推進(jìn)熱帶生物多樣性及保護(hù)生物學(xué)研究，為熱帶生物多樣性保護(hù)提供理論依據(jù)。該研究組因工作需要，本著“公平公正、面向社會(huì)、公開招聘、競(jìng)爭(zhēng)上崗、擇優(yōu)聘任”的原則，現(xiàn)面向社會(huì)公開招聘研究人員，專業(yè)要求: 具有棲息地破碎化、氣候變化對(duì)棲息地的影響、生態(tài)系統(tǒng)服務(wù)、保護(hù)生物地理學(xué)、保護(hù)區(qū)管理、遷地保護(hù)、外來(lái)入侵物種的管理、生態(tài)恢復(fù)、放歸、輔助遷移、保育教育等領(lǐng)域研究的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，并且所從事的研究的重點(diǎn)應(yīng)是植物或動(dòng)植物相互關(guān)系。

FACULTY POSITIONS in Conservation Biology at the Associate and Assistant Professor levels in the    Chinese Academy of Sciences, based in the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Yunnan, China.

The Center for Integrative Conservation at the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG), Yunnan, invites applications for full-time faculty positions in Conservation Biology. The Center for Integrative Conservation is a new group led by Professor Richard Corlett and is currently recruiting new staff at all levels. The        aim is to build up an international team of researchers and postgraduate students with collaborations with other institutions in China and internationally. XTBG has excellent research facilities and is located in one of   the biologically richest regions of Asia. XTBG is part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), through which these appointments will be made. Highly qualified candidates with experience in the science and practice of biological conservation, and   interested in research in any of the following or related areas, are encouraged to apply: habitat                       fragmentation, climate change impacts, ecosystem services, conservation biogeography, protected area management, ex situ conservation, invasive species management, ecological restoration, reintroduction,           assisted migration, and conservation education. The research focus should be on plants or plant-animal interactions.

The candidates’ responsibilities, along with their independent research, will include: the development of postgraduate training and research; the development of collaborations with universities and institutions in     China and the region; obtaining external funding; and publication in leading international journals. The successful candidates will benefit from CAS's established research programs and field stations. XTBG has strong   cooperative relationship with the local and provincial governments and surrounding countries in developing     effective collaborations.
