Post Specification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conducting teaching research on the basis of university data;
2. Managing daily office work of Centre for Learning Enhancement and Research (CLEAR);
3. Planning and conducting staff training activities;
4. Writing various reports in relation to teaching quality;
5. Assisting in teaching and learning affairs including e-Learning;
6. Arranging meetings and coordinating with other units;
7. Undertaking other tasks assigned by the AVP-ED-CU and CLEAR Director.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. At least an MA degree, preferably in education studies.
2. At least 5 year’s post-qualification experience, preferably with administrative or research experience at tertiary institutions.
3. Good critical thinking and analytical ability;
4. Ability to plan, implement and report education enhancement and/or research projects;
5. Good ability in educational data analysis and presentation;
6. Good writing and communication skills both in English and Chinese;
7. Ability to work independently and coordinate well with colleagues;
8. Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail;
9. Ability to manage website and social media posts;
10. Life-long learning motivation and ability.
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
